Health Kinesiology

Health Kinesiology is a holistic therapy based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Using muscle testing and energy balancing techniques, it aims to rebalance a body's physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual energies and initiate the body's built-in self-healing process.

 

Health kinesiology is gentle and non-invasive. It's suitable for people of all ages, and will easily work alongside any medication.

People come for this work when greater physical health is needed, when anxiety or depression have become the norm and when mental health may be described as a thick fog.

Often the stresses we try to remove are hidden away deep within us. Over time, we've learnt to accept them, to compensate for them, and to absorb them as normal until we are completely oblivious to them, consciously at least.

In reality, we are like swans, gliding along gracefully, appearing serene and unruffled, whilst paddling furiously underneath. We may be aware of the effort we're making, but often our subconscious is keeping this from our conscious mind while taking on the work load.

Health kinesiology discovers the hidden stresses and releases them, so our subconscious minds can relax and let go. This is not a talking approach as many of our blocks and resistances are hidden from us. We regard them as normal or hide them from our Conscious Mind. And - let's face it - sometimes we're just too 'done' to think and talk. That can come later if necessary.

How many sessions of treatment will I need?

Health kinesiology treatments produce results relatively quickly. In most cases, weekly sessions are the most beneficial.

 

How many treatments you choose to have is up to you, but most clients will need just 8-12 sessions. And help with stress relief or phobias can be achieved in as little as four sessions.

What happens in a Kinesiology session?

I'll start by taking a case history - most often a questionnaire - and we will discuss your needs and goals.

 

I'll then ask you to lie on the couch, fully clothed, while I tune into your Inner Self and perform the Kinesiology Arm Muscle Test.

 

The results of this test let me select the appropriate techniques for you. These could be magnets, essences, homeopathics, accupressure, or something as seemingly simple as a thought, all working to find  and release stresses held in the body.

 

The work is private and non-intrusive. Your body will present needs to be healed and dealt with, so you don't have to talk and share.

 

I will talk to your Inner Self and let it guide me, while I help you take the next step towards health and happiness at your pace. This is important for lasting change, because too much too soon, and you may not be able to fit changes into your busy life.

 

The stresses you struggle with accumulated over time, so restoring your body, mind, and emotions to balance will also take time.
